Sleep disorders are common with Multiple Sclerosis. Lack of sleep can worsen the symptoms and have to be addressed early.
Not getting quality sleep can adversely affect mood and energy. Sleep disorders are due to the lesions to specific areas of the brain and spinal cord.
Most of the people having MS finds it hard to fall asleep and waking up. Each person can have different symptoms. Good sleep can reduce fatigue, depression and anxiety as well as memory and focus.
