MS could make it difficult to balance and walk.
When the part of the brain which controls balance gets disrupted then dizziness and balance issues occur. It may feel like you are spinning, falling or light headed. This can result in panic or anxiety. You could feel like that whether you are standing, seated or lying down. You could also feel dizzy when the inner ear is affected.
Signs and symptoms of balance issues include:
· A feeling of spinning.
· Lightheadedness or feeling faintish
· Unsteadiness
· Floating feeling or dizziness.
· Blurred vision
. Confusion
Managing Balance issues:
Exercise the special area affected.
Concentrate when walking and avoid talking.
Use a walking air such as a walking stick, arm crutch or walking frame.
Make suitable changes in your home to ensure safety.
